A great zuccinini for pot planting
And its not too late.
Its called Astia zucchin and is available from Renees seeds. We planted them in pots in the end of May by the end of june there were already zucckinis on the plants. |

I tried 'Partenon' zuccinni from Johnny's Seed this year. They are parthenocarpic and gynoecious. The plants started producing fruit even while they were quite small. I would think that they would be well suited to containers. I am really liking the uniformity of size on them too.

I just planted some here in Fresno County, CA. Hope to have a few of them before colder weather comes. I have seeds for next spring and will plant them then.
