Tomatoes With Unusal Growth Deviation
Hi everyone!!
Here is a Tartar Of Mongolistan from my garden. As you can see there is a growth deviation that appears like a " beak" protruding from the fruit. He's now a bird!! Has anyone else had strange growth from a tomato heirloom or not? Julia

Love his haircut!
Years ago we had a tomato that had what looked like a, ahem, well a protuberance that wasn't a nose. DH had a photo of it for a long time!

Not uncommon at all and at another message site where I read someone was showing a similar picture although the "protuberance", ahem, as some called it was farther down nearer to the blossom end. I was going to make a comment about finding a tomato mate for it but I'm sooo shy and reserved that I just couldn't bring myself to do it.
