my first cherokee purple
Well for the past 10 years I bought my plants at the big box stores and was satisfied. The last couple of years I discovered tomatoville and all I can say is thank you! Planted 4 heirlooms this year, cherokee purple, clints rowdy reds, otv brandywine, and marianns peace. These choices were made based on your musings, Had my first CP WOW what flavor. My wife accused me of putting sugar on the slice I cut for her. excellant Once again thank you and I look forward to my future with heirlooms

Glad you liked them, CP is the first heirloom I ever grew and now I'm hooked.
unfortunetly the CP I was growing this year lost all it's foliage to frost and I had to cut all of the branches the suckers did come out and set fruit but it took awhile, I don't think I will have a ripe one for another month.
