Default Chocolate Blues

A couple of pictures of Chocolate Blues, a determinate and another of Tom Wagner's varieties. I have 3 of these plants growing, sadly a while away from ripe fruit!

I got some Chocolate Blue seeds from Tom as well and I'm contemplating whether I should grow these, Blue Bayou, Indigo Rose or Bosque Blue next season. Whatever I do decide, it'll be paired in placement with a White Tomesol as I attempt to hybridize those.

I'm trying to cross the larger Blue Bayou strain I found with White Queen, but I've found that I am a little too ham-handed to do it well. I have a butchers hands, not a surgeons...

Very nice! This was one of the ones I missed out on this year, you'll have to let me know how it is.

Will do, they look promising at the moment

Sounds like a fun project Baizanator, I'm looking forward to hearing more. Good luck with the crossing Marktutt, should be an interesting cross, let us know how you get on. My Blue Bayou, are only just setting fruit, late sown.

On the white theme, I've a few plants of Beautiful Dreamer, which I think has White Beauty in its breeding. They are all showing antho in the leaves, a bit early for me to tell with the fruit.
