And there's also http://www.zazzle.com/ and, of course http://www.cafepress.com/
Just needs someone with some artistic talent, and permission from the site owner to use the name, logo, etc. |

I thought once-upon-a-time there were T-shirts?? Would probably be another pain in the butt job, making sure everyone was happy with colour, size, design etc.

I have two old Tomatoville shirts, one black and one kind of greenish. Are there any left? Mine are too big now. I bought them right after I had my daughter and I was about 20 pounds heavier. I'd buy a smaller one if they're still available.

Still wear mine all the time and get comments from all who really notice what the words say. Also have the lighter color as well as the same color Jerry is wearing.

I doubt very highly that Mischka ever wants to again get into the T-shirt business, that I know.
So if someone else wants to spearhead it and gets permission from him to use the logo or whatever, and have shirts made in different sizes and colors and with different sayings, to be decided on with a dedicated thread here, and has all the time in the world to coodinate such an effort and who has to pay in advance for the shirts and then have them delivered to the person's home and then that person has to ship them out to folks here in the US and possibly overseas and be familiar with all those postage costs so more can be charged, and then maybe even get involved with paypal, which didn't work out well last time, then.... What the heck, go for it. I am not that person.

I will do it... but not the way carolyn described. I'll design a tee and set it up on zazzle.com for people to order up their tees, pay to zazzle, who then manufactures and ships. Design to be created and decided upon by me, not a committee. Of course, logos and permission to be granted by mischka first.

Jen, basically I'm an egalitarian at heart but in some situations which I won't regale anyone here with, others have said that there are times when egalitarianism is out and dictatorship, if you will, is in. So if you say that design is to be decided on by you alone, I guess that's the way it's going to be, and it sure can save some haggling if there was a committee making decisions, knowing some of the strong minded individuals who post here. So go for it.

I deal with a lot of decisions by committee in my professional life, so I know what that's all about. I surely don't want to do that in my "free" time. No offense to anyone here! I love this place and that's why I volunteered. All that said with love and affection. I would like a tville shirt too. Still waiting for permission from Mischka. Jen |

Sounds like a great idea Jen - I get things on Cafe Press and Zazzle a few times a year. I love that as a buyer you can really customize your selection, color, type of item, everything once you find a design you like. The nice thing is that would get the site out there more, bit just by people wearing them, but by people shopping for garden themed things on Zazzle.
I would love to have one in time for the National Heirloom Expo II in mid-September, but the timing is probably too tight.
