Surrogate Garden Update
My plants have really taken off this year. Maybe I should have the Satcom folks reduce the power on their Sat Dish. Ami

Very nice Ami. How has the harvest been from that location?

Ami, do you save your own seeds for the following year's planting? Your plants are very close to each other so I was wondering if you have had any issues with crossing with the plants you grow from your seeds?

What a wonderfully healthy looking garden! I love seeing pics of plants at people's work sites . The equipment rental company in town always has zucchini and tomato plants spilling out of a brick raised bed in front of the building and it warms my heart !

That is one good looking bunch of plants. I wish mine had that much foliage on them.
I overpruned the last two years resulting in lots of sunscald and less tomatoes on the second and third flush. I'm not sure if there is any research, but I have heard anecdotal evidence of lush growth around military radar sites. You may be on to something. It's too early in the morning for me to have this bad a case of foliage envy, but I do. |
