Pepper seedlings
When potting up or transplanting pepper seedlings do you do the same as tomatoes like pinch off lower leaves & plant deeper or do you just keep the same soil level in the pot up as in the smaller pot.

me too. peppers won't root from the stem as vigorously as tomatoes.

The only time I plant them deeper is if they have become leggy and are in danger of falling over. I've never dug them up to see if they have rooted along the stem. I suspect it depends on which species you are talking about, but peppers are as aggressive growers as tomatoes.

For the initial pot up I plant so that the cotelydons are just above the soil line. However, when I plant into the ground (or container) I don't generally plant my peppers as deeply as my tomatoes. Peppers are shallow rooted. If you dig them up at the end of the season there will be a big clump of roots at the base of the stem just below the soil line. There will be some root development along the stem, but not as much as a tomato plant. There is a central tap root on peppers that will go down fairly deeply everything else tends to spread out fairly close to the surface.

Same here, usually just a little deeper than they were in the previous pot, mainly for added stability.
