Hi Steve,
Your tomatoes look great! Do you expect to be selling seeds for all of these varieties for the 2014 season? Anne |

Awesome, I like the baskets too! Good for stacking bigs. Where did you get those?

Thank you for the generous comments
![]() @ TightenUp, I hope to get a chance to rate all these at least two more times during the season but my initial impressions of this group: Standout pink beefsteak was Shirley S for flavor and production, with Grandpa Willie right there with Shirley. Grandpa Willie is supposed to be a red (not pink) so will have to see what Bill wants to do with this one. Rozella was a standout bi-color, it is new from Millard M and, though the flavor was consistent, there was considerable variation in the color. This can happen with bi-colors so will wait for future fruit. Captain Lucky White was an exceptional white and should get larger than I grew them if grown properly. It may be the best yellow/white I've tasted - looking forward to tasting later season tomatoes of CLW. Work Release Paste is an amazing paste, I had very few seeds from the first 4 fruit so hopefully I will get a lot of fruit production. @ Anne, I expect many of these will make the final cut, thanks! @bejustice, those are the trays/flats nurserys use to transport and display smaller plants. I used to be able to get them for free but now, with the price of plastic i think you would have to buy them. They really aren't quite deep/sturdy enough to stack/transport larger tomatoes. @Redbaron, I hope to get an early start with them next season. While looking at the mites under a magnifying glass I spotted some predator insect munching on the mites. I haven't sprayed for mites so maybe the beneficials are getting a foothold. @Tania, thanks, I hope you are soon very busy harvesting seeds!
