Default Is it a leaf? or a fruit stem?

This pic was sent to me by a customer who bought the plant earlier this year. It is supposed to be Black Krim Cherry, but he is reporting yellow fruit at maturity. To my knowledge, I do not have any varieties that have ever shown combined fruit stems with leaves beyond the fruit.

It seems to be a year of anomolies. I have a sucker and a fruit truss growing out of a leaflet. When I posted it on another web site people chipped in with similar types of anomolies. I have deemed it the year of anomolies aka the year of weirdness.

Ditto here. I'm accustomed to seeing it on a couple of varieties, but this year it seemed to be occurring on numerous varieties.

We're in the Twilight Zone. I've got the same thing on an Ed's Millennium this year.

I've had quite a few leaves-turned-into-trusses and vice versa, esepcially in the heat-damaged plant that is trying to repair itself.
