Nice looking large tomatoes. How big is the vine and how many tomatoes are you getting per vine. I think another tomato is going on my want to grow next year list.

The vines are over 6 ft feet tall, however most of my plants are over 6 feet. I think it is due to the record heavy rains we had in early spring.

I would guesstimate that I'm getting about 15-18 per plant

Impressive, you are talking 30-35 pounds per plant. I assume it hasn't been the best tomato growing year for you as it hasn't been for others. It's definitely on my grow list next year.

I grew them 3 years ago but at the time had critter problems. Squirrels and raccoons got most of them. I think harvested 2 tomatoes for my efforts.

I've since moved and (knock on wood) haven't had those problems in the new place yet. I might give Elmer's Old German another try next year.
