Here's a couple of lines that make 14 - 18 ounce slicers late in the season (90 - 100 day types).

Brandywine x Neves Azorean Red, as yet unnamed line. Potato Leaf.



Indian Stripe x Daniels, as yet unnamed line, although I'm affectionately
calling it Daniel Burson. Potato leaf vine makes a few early but main crop late.

I got IS X PD in Carolyns 2012 offer, grew out 2 which were extremely similar, maybe even exactly the same. I have to say its been my very most favorite tomato I have ever eaten. One was 22 ozs.

Here's another 90 - 100 day, late season tomato.
This is another Brandywine x NAR line, but pink rather than red.
Several years ago, Dan McMurray grew out 12 F2 plants, and
he recommended this one, #10, for flavor. I now call it McMurray #10.

Here's a mess of McMurray #10s that I found hiding under a mass of foliage today.



I ate one of them and my neighbor, Dave, juiced the rest.

When a deep pink tomato is really full ripe, I guess you can see why the old timers called them "purple."

McMurry #10 is a beauty. Too bad it didn't all go into BLT's but I guess they were too ripe to mess around.

Grew McMurray #10 this season and it's an excellent deep pink tomato. Very good flavor. Average production.

with DNA like that how could they not be amazing tomatoes. Would they all be considered late season tomatoes? sigh...so many of the really great Brandywine offspring are too late for my growing season
