Soil Testing to making garden Greener
Perhaps this is not where this belongs but soil testing and fertilizers go hand in hand.
How many of you soil test your garden each year? Do you just do a sample soil test or do you do a CEC and a LaMotte test? Or do you just put fertilizer on without testing? We're just put some 12-12-12 on and it well be OK.. Do you want vegetables from your garden or do you want Nutritional vegetables? There is a difference. Without the right minerals in the soil how do you know if any thing is tied up or not without a soil test? There is a 30 day email lesson that might be of interest to you at: https//aglabs.infusionsoft.com/app/form/garden-emal-series It will help you understand and perhaps improve you soil and the way you think about your garden soil. Does anyone have any other very good learning sites about improving your garden soil organicly? |

I think soil tests are useful especially in commercial operations but observation of your plants and weeds can tell you a lot also. The other thing to realize about garden plots and fields is that they can vary a lot from one place to the next in them.
