April Fool's Day is of significance to farmers and gardeners alike.

Especially the April Fool's day when we got walloped with over a foot of heavy, wet snow. I bet that April Fools day was, and still is, of significance to farmers around here, and not in a good way...!

It's been a financial disaster for my spring nudist colony schedule.

Right on, Stacy! The sun is high! Can't deny that... winter will not last forever.

We may have a cold summer though, if the winds are not kindly enough to get rid of so much ice (worst in 30 years, they say).

I think the cool summer is virtually guaranteed here. Michigan has ice to depths of 3' in some places. That's gonna take awhile to melt and then get water temperatures up. I still think we are on the homestretch for the winter stuff though!

Worth, you are so funny.

The thing is my Hubby's Uncle DID own a nudist park that became notorious after he retired and sold it -- Naked City, home of the Miss Nude America contest. It's been closed for quite a few years now.

Personally I too have had enough of this winter roller-coaster. Looking good for a day or 2 then back in the deep freeze and/or snow for the next couple of days. It's only 14* F here right now. And we aren't supposed to get much warmer for the day.

The forecast is for below zero tonight, although it also is predicting 40's by Wednesday At this rate I won't even get peas in until June.

Its ending this week! Our last cold day will be today! (Its 7 degrees with the wind chill out there right now. ) After today, everything in the long range forecast is above freezing and that is all we need to get it melting! The sun is so high in the sky now, it is going to be hard for this to continue much longer. We might see 60 by friday which means you should have a nice weekend of spring clean up coming.
