Tough year - but my first ripes are in
Been a rough year personally, with lots of great ups and bad downs, and my tomatoes have gotten more neglected than I'd like them to have been. But, just this morning I went out to water and was rewarded with my first three ripe tomatoes. Cherries, from a Zapotec x Black Cherry F2 cross that Steve at Heritage kindly sent me seeds from to grow out myself. (I'm looking for a ribbed cherry.)
So cheers to Tuesday, and three perfect cherry tomatoes to eat when I get home from work today. Kathy |
