You are right...I have learned a great deal the last couple of years. There are also some really nice people here. I love "comparing" posts...and finding common threads of information. That is valuable to me.

I grew up on the family truck farm in NJ and later in Maryland. We raised acres of tomatoes I remember Supersonic, Celebrity, Jet Star, Rutgers and Mountain pride off the top of my head. And I too must admit that I am guilty of learning a lot from these knowledgeable and nice folks here! T'ville is a nice getaway from real life too!

Glad you appreciate all their knowledge because I taught them everything
they know including their modesty. |

One aspect of knowledge and wisdom is to admit you know almost nothing.

After a while here, you will start saying things to your friends and family that make no sense at all to them.
There are blue tomatoes? A green tomato? Why would you eat a green tomato? |

I appreciate learning about modesty. Every time I think I've become as modest as possible I realize how much more modest I can become. Now if I could only grow tomatoes inversely to my modesty.

I started gardening in 2010. I told my doctor that I no longer wanted to take pain medicines for the nerve disease RSD. He told me to find a hobby to keep myself busy. A hobby to keep me thinking and learning. Gardening.
Sense joining Tville, my hobby has become a year-round learning experience. Here it is January 5th and I'm thinking about gardening as soon as I wake up. It keeps me thinking positive. The pain is still there, but I'm not thinking about it. The doctor was right. It's because of all of you here at Tville that my hobby has become a passion. I thank every one of you for being here. |

First grade is pretty good. Before joining, I felt like I was held back in kindergarden for three years.

Did I see my name mentioned? Did I win an award? Is there a prize? Where do I pick it up, do I need to make a speech? I'm so excited, I'm dont have a thing to wear I'm going to have to go out and buy new clothes. Worth |
