Anyone want a chuckle? A local morning TV show...

3 minutes goes by really fast...and I cringe a bit at some of the things that come out of my mouth!

Nothing to cringe about there, you were very well spoken. The only criticism I have is it's too short.

You did GREAT! I liked the interview very much. Yes, too short and not the questions I would ask, but then hopefully it was enough to make people want the book. I wish you great success! It will get easier and easier and probably you will hear the same questions so often that you'll know the answers before they finish talking.

Nothing "deflated" about that interview, Craig!

I loved it, especially the part when you said "we must create the next generation of seed savers". Your book should definitely help to inspire this! Right on! Right on! Right on!
Thanks Craig, Great job! Dutch

My problem is I'm passionate about many fruits. Such as having a tree Thomas Jefferson grew, and since propagation is by cloning, my tree could actually originated from his. The history of peppers is fascinating too. Many have done for apples what Craig is doing for tomatoes. Saving rare varieties from total extinction. Interesting stories about fruit trees around old mining towns that are now ghost towns. Many surviving on their own for decades, and now being propagated.
In another forum we found a fruit catalog from 1875 in England. In it was listed about 2000 pear cultivars. Most now are gone forever. 1200 apple cultivars in the catalog too! Craig I enjoyed your interview on American Home Grown Veggie hour. Podcasts can be found here http://www.americaswebradio.com/podcasts/veggieHour.xml |
