Default aka Mad Apple

I did not know Aubergine is another name for eggplant until just a few minutes ago seeing the new heading. So I looked in an online dictionary and found another synonym:

"The noun mad apple has 2 meanings:

Meaning #1: hairy upright herb native to southeastern Asia but widely cultivated for its large glossy edible fruit commonly used as a vegetable
Synonyms: eggplant, aubergine, brinjal, eggplant bush, garden egg, Solanum melongena

Meaning #2: egg-shaped vegetable having a shiny skin typically dark purple but occasionally white or yellow
Synonyms: eggplant, aubergine"

I'm going to go with "Mad Apple" from now on.

Should it be added to the topic heading?

It seemed appropriate to add the other name by which eggplant are known throughout the world by Tomatovillians™ living under the sovereignty of the British Crown or in the former British colonial countries (Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Zimbabwe, Belize and South Africa) or Great Britain (UK) itself.

If it weren't for the Boston Tea Party, we'd probably be calling them aubergines here in the former 13 British colonies.

One last word of farewell, Dear Master and Mistress.

Whenever you visit my grave,

say to yourselves with regret

but also with happiness in your hearts

at the remembrance of my long happy life with you:

"Here lies one who loved us and whom we loved."

No matter how deep my sleep I shall hear you,

and not all the power of death

can keep my spirit

from wagging a grateful tail.

How could some with my last name argue with using Aubergine? !
