Default Kissing Bug

I would usually put a thread about bugs in the section where it goes, but I just learned about this bug and it is dangerous to humans. If this thread needs to be moved - go for it.

Kissing bug, a bug linked to human heart disease: http://www.click2houston.com/news/ki...texas/29568648

The attached video at the above site is only 2:14.

I have known about Kissing bugs all my life I cant remember not knowing about them.
It was one of the things as kids we used to scare each other about.
I think I saw a Kissing bug in your bed.

Nasty things.

That made me think of what we used to say as kids.

Good Night - sleep tight - don't let the bed bugs bite...

If you think of that, how do you go to sleep worrying about bed bugs biting you?

I have not heard of kissing bug up to this moment. But Bed Bug is different. It just lives on host's blood like flea but does not sting or cause disease.

That bug kinda looks like an Assassin Bug. I got bit back in the summer and that was painful. The bug in the video has the same basic coloration and body shape for the adults. I recommend avoiding both at all costs.
