How long on the vine...

Reason I ask is, I have a lot of tomatoes that should be picked this week, but I have to leave town for about four days. Question is, should I pick them and get them inside or leave them on the plants until I get back and can process them?

Pick them now! They will be fine inside.

If they're close to ripe, pick them now and leave them in a cool spot in your house so they don't over ripen while you're away.
