Anyone grow Aussie?

This is one I am thinking of buying seed for. Descriptions I have found have said that it is big, sweet, and low acid. I am wanting to get some opinions from some with first-hand experience. We like sweet tomatoes, and our tomato tasting has been pretty limited so far. I most recently was wowed by Arkansas Traveler, ok to good flavor plain, but amazing with a little salt! If Aussie tastes similar, I would love to grow it!

Where you finding seeds at for it. It one that been on my wishlist. I had a couple of seeds about two years ago and was so excited to have it and try it and the seedlings croaked just after a couple of days from sprouting. Haven't seen Aussie around since.

hazzardsgreenhouse.com is where I am looking at the seeds. They have bulk quantity seeds at great prices. I have ordered from them a time or two, and was pleased.

I've grown Aussie many years ago, and loved every tomato. The fruit and the plant both were large, later in the season. From my notes - sweeter flavor, not a heavy tomato taste.

I see at Hazzard's, they offer lots of seeds in each packet. If you do decided to purchase Aussie tomatoes, send me a message and I'll help with the cost. I don't need 500 seeds!

I have plenty of Aussie seeds if interested...late season variety. Mine didn't get as large as they say...our tomato season last year was terrible...heavy rains 9 inches in Jan...they never recovered from fungus.

It has been a few years since last growing Aussie but it was nice addition to the tomato garden. For me it was quite late but made up in production, 54 tomatoes. the average size was about 9 ounces with a largest fruit of 20 ounces. The flavor rating was 4 out of 5 with a balanced sweet to tart flavor; but that is all my records indicate. The seeds came from Tomato Growers Supply and they still list it as available.
