Tuff Love
Anyone else out there practice "tuff love" for their young maters? I spank mine about 5 times a day with a yard stick to strengthen them for the cruel world that awaits them. Don't bother to turn me in to the social services, for Ill deny such practice ever took place.

I dont harden them off. I take them from the warm climate controlled lights straight out into the variable nights and direct sun. Anyone who doesn't make it wasn't tough enough to go the distance. I will say i have never lost one yet but i will admit my grow light is really strong and i rarely notice any sunburn when they are placed outside. Im also not very gentle planting them. That happens because i plant alot of plants and i run out of patience. After they are planted out is when i go into full care mode.

I planted my seeds in solos 2 weeks ago and left them outside. I cover with plastic to protect them from rain. Good thing cuzz last night we had a downpour! We've been as low as 42 overnight but they look fine.

During early blooming I rattle the cages a couple of times a day. They seem to like it a little rough.

Toughest of love, here. The day they sprout is the day they go outside (back indoors at night).
