Druzba taste and texture

I am eating my Druzba tomatoes now (Southern Florida) and find them dry. The taste is OK and they look nice without cracks, green portions or any disease BUT they simply aren't juicy. I have monitored the plant closely. It is in Miracle Grow potting soil and I have fed and watered it regularly. Now, given the glowing reports that most people give, I am wondering
1--Do I have the right seed?
2--Is it because I am in Florida
3--Has anyone else had the same experience.

Probably it is more of a sauce/paste tomato ?
I planted it one season back in PNW. It was a poor producer and cannot remember specifics about its texture and taste.

I found them to be almost a market quality tomato. Mine had an interesting taste, nice texture, but the depth of the taste was not pronounced enough for my taste buds. I have seeds from a second source to try, from a TV member who likes them, and knows his tomatoes too. We will see how those do.

Not dry at all in my garden, nothing close to paste, it's a must grow every year in my garden. Very productive, thin-skinned, and perfect fruit that never cracks.

Very productive, good taste, no cracks, disease resistant. A good tomato for every day purposes.

Tania likes it, those comments there at her site also like it and I love it for its consistency from year to year and also for excellent taste.

I've offered it here at Tville in several seed offers and the Fall feedback thread has shown that others love it as well.

Marlynn, I know several in south FL who grow lots of tomatoes, and I do think that the timing of when you sow seeds and when you get the seedlings out and how you grow them are all variables to be looked at. You want to get fruit production before the high heat and humidity starts in the summer.

The best description for all of this was by Linda Sapp in Fort Myers,who owns Tomato Growers Supply/
