Red Robin (a red cherry) does well in a one-gallon container, and I find the taste is acceptable and not acidic like so many.
If you can grow something in a larger pot, Dwarf Arctic Rose or New Big Dwarf are good and produce large fruit. Linda |

A good introduction to micro dwarfs here...
https://heritageseedmarket.com/index...warf-tomatoes/ For a released dwarf supplier, this is one... http://www.victoryseeds.com/dwarf-tomato-project.html I've not grown that many so others would need to suggest what would do best indoors. If you want to do some grow-out/hunting, some seed is available here... http://www.tomatoville.com/showthread.php?t=39520 I like hunting. Grew many last winter. Just need to plant minimum 12 seeds but 24-36 is best. Grow out the obvious smallest seedling and look for good traits in 10-12 plants. Cull any that reach the ceiling, lol. I also grew some stable varieties. |

Lighting is also not an issue as I am growing under a 1000w MH/HPS combination bulb with great temp and humidity control. I will hand pollinate everything too.

I've been growing microdwarfs and very-short-determinates indoors for a few years now. I've never needed to pollinate them and I get multiple flushes of fruit. My favourite ones are:
506 Dwarf Bush Early Bajaja Little Sun Mega Bite / Megabyte Red Profusion Red Robin Snow Fairy Sweet N Neat Scarlet Improved Tumbling Tom Jnr Yellow |

You may want to also look at some of the Parthenocarpic tomatoes that OSU developed. They are all determinant, but are not dwarfs so that may or may not preclude their use for you. You don't say how much vertical space you have. I've grown Siletz and really liked the flavor, and the plant only reached about 3 ft high for me.
(The parthenocarpic trait will allow the tomatoes to develop fruit in-doors without you having to hand pollinate them). |

I highly recommend Hardin's Miniature. It's a micro, determinate habit but keeps on fruiting. It gets 6-12" tall. Grew it in a 1 gallon container. The flavor is marvelous. Strong tangy old-fashioned tomato flavor. I got mine at gardenhoard.com

Tiny Tim is great! The flavor was surprisingly yummy. I recently started a few seedlings for windowsill growing over the bleak Northeast winter... Thankfully, I have a sunny office where they've done well in the past.

They had blossoms with only about 12 hours of sunlight per day. |

My Tiny Tim plants were a disaster indoors! Turns out they probably have the sundwarf gene, which causes them to undergo etiolation if they don't have perfect light levels.

I can make no recommendations... However, if you are interested in playing with some tiny crosses looking for something worth growing, I could find some F3 or F4 seed that I think has potential to send you.
This thread will give you some ideas... http://tomatoville.com/showthread.php?t=42980 |
