Different Foliage
You never know what may turn up when growing tomatoes from seeds, as I found with the seedlings in the photos.
I got the offer of seeds for a big fruited variety (Unknown Name) and decided if I grew 4 seeds I would be sure to end up with one plant, as not much room for numbers this season. I sowed 4 seeds, got 4 seedlings, then noticed the elongated leaves when they started growing. No explanation for the difference in them. |

Possible cross Mcsee? Could spare the room here to ensure it is grown out if you want

A Chromosome change in the genes perhaps. I'll give it pride of place in my garden Woz and grow instead of Duncan's.

Good luck with that. You never know until you try.

Thank you for that. If it's what I think it is, then maybe I won't get big red fruit after all.

What I noticed is that long cotyledons usually gives tall plants, meaning long internode plants. I don't have a significant statistic, just an observation.

The east/west ones on them area about the same. And the N/S ones are sticking upwards on the one plant but not the other. Possibly a camera angle? Carolyn

Turned out to be a potato leaf on the top seedling, even though it started off quite narrow. Not sure what the fruit will do with the change, but the surprise will be nice.
