Now I might have to join Houzz. Sounds like fun. Is there a thread yet for wish lists? I'd like to peek.

There's a pop-up that says "To create your account, Google will share your name, email address and profile picture with Houzz." Is this the way to sign up for the swap? Do I join all of Houzz or is there a garden web section to join, or what?

If you join, and request tomatoes and beans, I won't reveal who your Secret Santa may be.

Might there be any skinny label papers of tomato crosses unique to a certain region of Massachusetts that might glean a twinkle in Tville member eyes included in Santa's sack?

If I request tomatoes & a truck backs up to my house, I'll know who my Secret Santa is

There are people requesting tomatoes, peppers, beans, etc. Think of the good you could do...

Is it just me or is the Garden Web and Houzz sites hard to navigate? I went around Robin Hood's barn to get to the wish list link!

I was on gardenweb a long time ago. I wish there was a way to match people up if they have different screennames on the two forums. I was basically a lurker there, but will eventually rejoin with a similar gto screenname. My zone will be part of my name. On the home related topics forums, the site is much worse to navigate, imho. The site became a sales tool when Houzz took over. Its hard to follow a discussion without ending up on an interior decorator site or product advertising. I have a lot of projects coming up so I'll have to bite the bullet and get better at it. Went a little rogue off the santa exchange - Lisa |
