Here's my garden at the moment. Planted out April 1 - yes, April Fools Day because I'm a fool for tomatoes.

Cages are about 1 1/2 feet tall. Things are looking good!

I congratulate you on your spacing. I'm too greedy to give my plants that much room and they suffer for it. You'd think I would wise up but there's so many varieties to grow!

It looks like you add PVC as your plants grow. Is that right?

Yes, I add pieces and another two levels of horizontal bit which end up being about 6 ft tall.

Very interesting how Black Prince eclipsed the others (YP and LB) in the firs picture of #4.

Nice.

What material did you use for the grey walls of the boxes, some kind of composite or recycled PVC?

It's composite material. It was sold as decking. It's lasted a while, but I've had to put in numerous stakes to keep them upright. Since they have a high percentage of PVC (or some type of plastic), the high temps here in SoCal causes warping due to heat.

I've never seen a garden that tidy, with perfectly angled cages no less. You must be related to Martha Stewart !

Do you mount your pvc cages on rebar stakes driven into the soil to keep them from toppling when the plants get large and heavy with tomatoes? Good looking garden!

No, the bottoms are pounded 12 inches deep. Never had any problems with them falling over.

Very nice tidy garden! Do you put extra strings down from the pvc frame for your cucumbers?

Nope, just the green stretchy garden tape around the main stems. Same with the tomatoes.
