Z3- The good, the bad and the ugly

The Good:
Mano: Unbelievable sweet taste for such an early toamto

The Bad

The aftermath on a few Ukrainian tomatoes that a colleague at work shared with me. She received the seeds from an elderly neighbour who got the seeds from the Ukraine- unfortunately she does not know the name of it. My friend absolutely raves about this tomato....good thing I have one in a pot (fingers crossed).

The Ugly
The first Happy from my portion of the dwarf grow out project. COLD temperatures and little hail mixed in to give it some character!!!

I tried to grow Momotaro 2 seasons and if it had looked like that at all, I would have kept trying! I think I'll try again.

I guess that for me, the GOOD is pretty much anything that Patrina sent that she or Grub selected out of Sneezy. Hard to believe that dwarf varieties can be so large, so beautiful, and so delicious!

The BAD.....the three Bundaberg Rumball 2....they were the color of Cherokee Chocolate, but nearly devoid of flavor!

The UGLY......my driveway after the dwarfs grew so heavy with fruit that they stared tipping, with the coup de grace a nice windy thunderstorm that made chaos out of everything!

Holy cow, that Momotaro is perfect. I gotta try that one. I love the idea of the aroma that you mention, too.

My Momo's look like that too and I think they are delicious! I'm growing a plant this winter inside a sunny bay window like I did last year. My two plants out in the garden now are huge monsters giving plenty of fruit daily. I wish they were a little bigger but otherwise a fine tomato!
