And there are potatoes in the house...more watermelon and tomatoes. This is my breezeway. We've been flirting with frost here, so harvest has to come in. The breezeway is quite small, so everything gets shoved aside. there's usually a path through there, but i filled it for the picture
![]() you should see what's still on the vine!

That’s just fantastic Catntree.
![]() How many pounds of tomatoes do you estimate you have? How many pounds of produce do you estimate you have? No Rena you can’t move to Maine, you have been acclimated to Georgia, ‘you would freeze to death. ![]() ![]() Worth |

mmm...maybe.....2000 lbs tomatoes in and on the vine...have gone through 180 lbs...there's 200-250 in the pic. I took pics of the plants i'll post later. There are/were about 80 squash with average weight 3-4 lbs...250-300 lbs.
about 150 lbs watermelon. about 400 lbs potatoes counting the ones the wireworms got and the seed potatoes....mmmm.....200 ears of corn including small early and dent....should have gotten 2-300 lbs sweet potatoes but the deer keep eating the vines down to nubs...so thats a failure. GRRRR....cukes didn't do well...carrots and beets were poor. Deer ATE my pepper plants!!!! ARGHHH! oh...THEN, the hornworms finished them off. That fence will be finished next year... Tree

I was thinking like Rena, I'd better move to a cooler zone! But I wouldn't want to face your frost problem either. I, too, am quite jealous of your haul there. It was a good season here for some things but certainly not tomatoes, squash or potatoes. Darn diseases and bugs!
