What a beautiful young lady!!!!
You should be very proud of her. So tell us, ‘how many base ball bats did you wear out while she was growing up to keep the wolves away? Worth |

Oh, I remember Homecoming...this other girl wore the same dress as me! It was so embarrassing! I hope your daughter had a better time than I did! She looks great!

Worth,
I have moved beyond the bat and just rely on my trusty Baretta.

(same dress)
Time for a enlightened group of young women to put this traditional awkardness to rest by *always* wearing the same dress to dances and other functions. "The Paris 6"

Taddict, It's moments like these that make you proud to be a mother. And it looks like you did a darn good job. Ami

Terry,
No wonder you insisted that you couldn't come for Oktoberfest this past weekend! Lydia is gorgeous all dolled up for Homecoming! Better keep that Beretta cleaned and loaded...;-) ps now that you've got Homecoming out of the way...no excuses next year...lol |

Hi Just wondering can anybody explain homecoming to me. Have'nt heard this term before.
By the way, your daughter is beautiful. What age is she. Is homecoming when you finish school like a graduation?

blatanna -
Homecoming is a yearly event at high schools in the fall of the year, often associated with a football game. It's supposed to be a big annual event where past alumni of the school, return to view the game (thus homecoming) and attend other associated events. But mostly it's just an excuse for a big formal evening dance for the current students where they get to dress up in their finery. |

Thanks for the explanation DD, i think its a lovely idea. Its great to see young folk getting dressed up as everything is so informal these days.
