Another corn question.
I bought 18 corn plants today and they came grown in bunches of three plants.I Can't grow them like that can i?I Don't see how i could possibly seperate three plants tha are getting root bound in tiny flats. The plants are about 10 inches tall.
If i do have to seperate them how can i possibly do it without killing them. Jason |

Unfortunately when I get stuff like that just to be on the safe side I just save the best one and cut the others at soil level. Believe me I tried that with peppers and the like and the roots are really tangled.

Corn is often grown in hills, with three plants per hill. Using that method, you can leave each group of three seedlings together in a bunch just the way you got them. Space the hills at least three feet apart.
