Chianti Rose

My Chianti Rose seems to be getting quite a few fruits on now, toward the mid to upper part of the plant. I am surprised, as I was under the assumption that it was a slow producer do to a blurb I read, but I just googled it and there seems to be a differering opinion, as another site says it's a huge producer.
Anybody ever grow it?

I just went out and did a quick count. I see 17 fruits minimum with lots of blossoms, so I will assume it's a good producer. Now, if it's a good taster.
I wonder what Italian heirloom they crossed with Brandywine to make this?

I am growing one plant and it fits the description of slow.

I've grown it and it did pretty good for me the years I've grown it. My neighbor is growing a plant this year and it's going gangbusters for him too. The flavor of this variety has been good for me. Not the best but I would give it a 7 out of 10.

7/10 isn't bad, right? Glad to see atleast 2 others here have grown it. Cool.

Cecil, it's a good one for taste in my opinion. I am not growing it this year, but I would rate it at least 8 or 9 out of 10.

A keeper in my book.
