Beware of the Google Monster!
My good friends here at Tomatoville,
I was shocked last evening to see all 19 of my videos on Google's You Tube Wiped out. No explanation or e-mail communication I have spent all night, now 5:24 AM, uploading the tomato series to Yahoo Video. Here is the link to the Play list if anyone wants to continue to follow the series. http://video.yahoo.com/playlist/100666701 I am really Happy with my Tomatoes. Really upset and the lack of Good business and customer service exhibited by the Google Monster. But for every set-back there is a Leap forward. We love gardening. Been doing before the Internet was even a thought. It is just so much Fun to share. Thank you all for your friendship |

Hi Chuck,
I had subscribed to your videos on you tube. When I clicked on your user name in my subscriptions, it said, "this account is suspended." Maybe you could email them and ask why? That is strange. Edited to add... I quickly searched on youtube about suspended accounts. It says they suspend accounts that they think are for "commercial purposes". For example if the videos are embedded into a site that (they think) sole purpose is to generate ad revenue. You can appeal to them to reinstate your account. Jen |

Thank you Jen.....
Yes I have contacted them.
They chances of even getting a response is Nill. Google does not operate with people. The are controlled with "robots" I have established the series on Yahoo Video More being added this morning http://video.yahoo.com/playlist/100666701 There are so many commercial Videos on You Tube it is ridiculous, plus pure filth. I am really pleased with the Tomatoes this year, and look forward to sharing with everyone. Thank you all for your patience |

I have to admit, this really bothers me. I knew that the moment Google bought YouTube there were going to be problems. So much for "do no evil". I knew they censored material of a political nature, and they obviously eliminate stuff that exceeds their "filth" threshold, but come on!
Chuck, I know you've already gone to Yahoo. Good luck with that. I'll find a way to watch your videos. I promise. |

There is the Link to the tomato series. and here is the Green Garden http://video.yahoo.com/playlist/100668095 The thing I can't handle is they will not share what a Violation was, I am clueless, so how can I know what Not to do that I did to Violate their standards. Actually the Video quality is better on Yahoo Quote:

I have met some these "geniuses" on their Turf. A strange group of Humanity. I thought it might be music, but the Music was non-royalty. Oh well we will see what Yahoo does with this Gardening and Marketing Bad Guy. They better look out, I wil sic my neighbor on them I am also posting on Revver.com ..... good quality also Last edited by ChuckBartok; June 1, 2008 at 02:25 AM. |

Google works with the Chi-coms to block sites. They allow vile jihadist videos while deleting any that present the other side. They gather information on anyone using google. When I was interested in using their book advertising I read the small print carefully--they can give personal information to third parties in countries where privacy laws are not as stringent as ours.
Did you see their logo celebrating Memorial Day? Yeah, me neither. Yahoo had one but not Google. These guys are not our pals. But unfortunately it's the best search engine and youtube is pretty great--I have 2 book trailers there now. Still I'm not that happy about it. Barb |

Chuck,
I'd recommend Vimeo.com The quality there is the best, but there's a webspace limit. |
