disapointed in Jacksonville tx tomatofest.
I was really disappointed in going to the local Jacksonville Tomatofest in Texas. I thought I would finally get to taste a heirloom tomato. All they had were the same kind of hybrids. I think they said pick when red? couldn't bring myself to buy any. My tomato plants are struggling and so far all I have to show are 3 celebrities and many different hybrid cherries and of course the ever growing yellow pear. my three Black Krim plants keep getting blossom end rot (are they prone to this?) and the others are just not any where near ready to pick. Now I am facing a stink bug infestation. All the tomato stands I go to just have the same "Jacksonville Tomatoes" I sure hope the taste difference is worth all this LOL.

Don't know much about this one, so thanks for the report.
You're always welcome to come to SETTFest next Saturday. We'll have plenty of great varieties to taste. |

SETFEST
I would love to come but I have to work. I am a night shift worker and am on all weekend. I was hoping I would get to go but not happening this year.
