Antifreeze in a wall-o-water

I plan on using homemade wall-o-water next year with 2 liter bottles. Has anyone thought of mixing antifreeze in with the water in the bottles to increase it's ability to stay liquid in freezing weather? Does this work?

If the weather is so cold that you are looking to use antifreeze in water bottles, its just going to be too cold for any plant growth anyway,it would be better idea to use a much larger water container and have some way of heating it.

When I use regular WOWs I often spill water when removing them. I'm not saying it will happen with what you're proposing. But, if you did have an accidental spill do you want anti freeze in your garden?

Dangerous idea if you have pets....if they drink from it they will be very sick or dead within a short time.

The concept is to have the water freeze.

According to the law of physics:

Sensible heat gain/lost has not too much calorific value (BTU).
Latent heat gain/lost is when BTU gain/lost the most. (transition form solid to liquid state).

What’s puzzling to me is the following:

While WOW keeps the plant warmer in the night time, it will keep the plant from getting the warmth they need in the day time, unless you take it away during the day and put it back at night.
