Zana, My wife is from Peru so I kinda know what you mean about the good foods. Down in Peru the food is simply excellent! I have some pepper seeds that my mother in law sent me. I am really looking forward to growing them

Chris,
I have Aji Rocoto and Aji Escabeche. I should be getting variety soon known as Aji Limo.

louster,

Duane (Dukerdawg) beat me to the punch on the Bulgarian Carrot recommendation. Bully for him - haha (inside joke). Anyhow, I use Jalapeno M as my base and add heat from there. So, my further recommendations would be:
Serrano
Serrano del Sol
Tabasco
Ring of Fire
Peter Pepper

I'm not that familiar with your growing season, but I would guess that Tabasco would not be a good fit because it takes so long. Ring of Fire is a good choice for taste, heat and earliness and would be the one from the above list that I would recommend most.

Good luck,
Randy
