bright side of your story, you don't have an increased electric bill d/t use of ac. It has been very very HOT in Texas, I did get 3.5" of rain last week and we have been below triple digit temps for a few days now but the humidity is a real killer.

Actually we'd had a heat bill. . . and an electric bill from running space heaters.

I just logged on to complain, lol. I woke up this morning and all I could see was grey. So foggy I couldn't see my car in the driveway. At 12:00--- July 23d-- for crying out loud---- it was 60!! And tomorrow it's supposed to be in the 50's!!!! July 23'd!!!

In the 50's on July 23'd????!!!! And of course rainy (but that's old news)

I might as well move to Vermont. . . at least it's cheap there!

Alright. . . no more complaining for the day. Thank y'all for letting me rant.

Okay, one more whine: we now have a flood warning. . . and this is the view from my window.

I just read that June here was the 4th darkest month (as in out of all months like February) since record keeping starting in the 1880's. UGH!

It's the end of days!

Alright. . . now I promise to only complain to my dogs for the week. Good luck everyone!

Ps- I should have NEVER watched that horro movie "The Fog" as a kid. ;0)

A good example of how wet and cloudy it's been... I cut the scapes off my garlic over 2 weeks ago and just dropped them in a pile in the corner of the garden. I looked at them today, and they have continued to grow into completely mature bulbils! First time I've ever seen bulbils from the scapes. They are really cute, like little teeny onions.

Well after many, many, many weeks of no rain and being classified as severe drought conditions in my area the rain finally came.
We had a thunderstorm complex move thru a couple nights ago and got 1" rain....now I have cleaned up down tree limbs and some of my toms are showing hail damage!!!
