So for requesting seeds the paper 2010 Yearbook is the way to go right now. And since there are several new SSE members here I just didn't want them to maybe be confused. I did check out one of my listings to see if it was there, and it is, as it should be.

I still haven't received my yearbook. Is this normal for Canadian members?
I joined for the first time last fall, for the sole purpose of getting the yearbook. It was suggested to me as a good resource for helping me when hosting my tomato/pepper seed exchange. I'm a little jealous that everyone else seems to have received it. Is there a different mailing schedule for members outside the US? Thanks....Heather |

SSE yearbook
Mine arrived Mar 3, so I'm guessing yours should be there soon.

Heather, the above from a Canadian SSE member who just got his and e-mailed me about it today. I know him well and have for many years. We go back and forth on the non-excellence of the Canadian Postal System. There have been several times that I've sent him seeds and he doesn't get them, most recently being my seed offer here at Tville, so I have to send again. It's nothing new, Back in the early 90's when Craig and I were publishing Off the Vine we had quite a few Canadians who subbed and there were almost always problems with those OTV's getting to where they were going in Canada and many times I had to resend and pray. This past week I received an e-mail from someone in Quebec who wanted to get seeds from the YEarbook from me but of couse there's no contact info given in the online and on Monday he still hadn't received his Yearbook, as a new member. He PMed me off the SSE message site about this first. I had to contact SSE to confirm he was indeed an SSE member and agreed to go ahead and by Wed or Thurs he had received his. No, I don't think that Yearbooks are sent out on any different schedule from other countries, there are still some in the US who haven't gotten theirs, which I know b'c I read.post at the SSE message site from time to time. So if you joined a reasonable time ago, based on what I said above it looks like you should get yours very soon. If not by the end of this week why not e-mail abe@seedsavers.org and ask; I'm pretty sure that's the right addy.

I received my yearbook on Friday the 5th of March. So last year the Yearbooks made it to Europe before most in the States got theirs. This year the opposite is true. Ami

I've got mine today in the middle of March. Later than ever before.
