Hi Pete,
Wow, quite the haul of tomatoes. I do hope you post your impressions of all those tomato varieties. Jeff |

What a nice array of tomatoes, set up under what appears to be a big shade tree adjacent to that country road. Are we selling them in this picture? What a picturesque spot to pass the afternoon; just need a big pitcher of sun-brewed iced tea...

Pete, it looks like tomatoes are doing well in Cincinnati. What a great harvest.

Thanks!!!
I have about 75 plants. I will post my thoughts on the individual varieties. I do not sell any tomatoes, preserve and give as many away as I can. I'll post a link so you can enlarge the pic <a href="http://s427.photobucket.com/albums/p...Picture066.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i427.photobucket.com/albums/p...Picture066.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> <a href="http://s427.photobucket.com/albums/p...Picture064.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i427.photobucket.com/albums/p...Picture064.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> Hope that helps, Pete |

I am going to try to make it to CHOPTAG but my daughter is in soccer now and has an out of town game that day so I'm still workin on DW.
Yes, a lot of brandywines, cowlicks, NAR, KBX, cherpkee purple, Mrs. Benson--- shoot I'll be honest with you, I need to check the map to see what is what, I just pick and eat and if I don't like it I throw it to the turtles and grab another. Went home for lunch and DW was makin sauce!!!! Yaaaahhhhoooo! Pete |
