I took the time, a few minutes, to photograph some of our tomatoes which might be the reference material for an oil painting when I get the chance.

I love the choice of tomatoes in your composition, the lighting effects and the juxtaposition. As is it would be a beautiful still life and if you tweak it further or at all, I think it still would be a great one. Thanks for sharing your concept/photo sketch.
