WBF-Furry Boar- Anyone grow these yet?

And what did you think? Saw Red Furry Boar, Pink Furry Boar, and Yellow Furry Boar on Brad's site, but can't find any further info. Anyone grow any of these? Please share your impressions.

Jen,

These are a newly released WBF variety, as I understand it. Something like peach skin, according to a post I saw a while ago. Personally, I am growing their Solar Flare and Red Boar this Season. Not really sure I would want the taste / texture of a "fuzzy" tomato...

Yeah, I know they are newly released, but I was hoping that maybe someone had gotten their hands on seed last year. I too am not sure about the fuzz aspect of it. They are cool looking, a novelty.

I grew three of the peach types with the fuzzy skin last year. Personally I didn't care for them that much, but an area chef was interviewed in the paper about their seasonal heirloom tomato menu and said they were his favorite varieties. They are pretty, so I've saved the article and am going to put it out with some pictures and a bunch of those plants at a charity plant sale this spring.

I got Solar Flame and Trenton's Tiger from him this year. my grow out this year is many more of his those 2 , BTD Black & Brown Boar, Brads Black Heart. Sweet Carneros Pink.
