Ken, the in ground garden gets full sun from about 9 AM until 3 or 4 PM. Roasts pretty bad in the afternoon - always amazed how the beets and cukes can look so awful in the full, hot sun - then come back beautifully in the evening!

swamper, I spend an hour each day watering by hand. If you had my type of soil (heavy clay, diseased, less sun than optimal), you would move to containers as well!

Me either Swamper...If I had mine in those size pots they would be wilted to death by the time I got home from work
