Actually, Rockporter, I've been a member for some time.
Redbaron, I agree with you in regards to the principal of the matter. DELETED - See Terms of Use My point is when you start posting created pictures of people in derogatory positions, then the line has clearly been crossed from 'informational' to downright childish, and libeling. Furthermore, the above picture obviously represents the creator’s dislike/judgments of two individual’s friendship. Tell me in what way shape or form does this have to do with either Pepper Joe or Penny as a company? The answer - it doesn't. Karen |

I think he meant Thepepperseed.com which appears to be owned by someone favorable to Pepper Joe.

I would think that if you are going to advertise something of great importance, you would make sure you had it correct in print....I went to pepperseed.com and If I was interested in owning the domain.......I could purchase it.

I looked at The Pepper Seed . Com It's mostly a personal website that may sell some seeds and is a happy customer of Joe. Joe also spams the feces out of it. I didn't find any ready mention of P J being the most influential pepper person of the year or what ever.

The editorial satire photo illustrates my opinion of a pattern that’s developed. There is clear cut evidence of this pattern in the blog that’s linked under the photo, too. Karen, you've had an axe to grind with me ever since a member here pointed out you were using their photos to sell your seeds without their permission. http://tomatoville.com/showthread.php?t=18294 Even though the outcome was long ago resolved, you've recently posted elsewhere just how unhappy you are that I did not delete the thread. Because you spend much of your online time moderating at a forum where Pepper Joe has been welcomed with open arms, I think it’s fair to say that you aren't neutral on the topic, despite what you would have us believe.

I think one angle that has been missed with respect to Penny and Joe is that fact they tag certain variaties as "organic" If something is really organic, it needs to have proof that it is certified organic, not just somebody claiming it is. Seems to me that could be potentially problematic for them if pursued....

Yes avoid pepper joes! I just asked him about How to grow Carolina reaper plants and he just responded "people grow ghost peppers in peat!l" but I asked this question before I put two and two together and read this thread.

Neither Joe nor Penny have a farm, so that wouldn't apply. They are seed resellers, not seed producers. They don't grow their own seed - they buy it elsewhere and repackage and sell it to poor, unsuspecting souls that don't know any better.
