Default Do not order Light Bulbs from 1000bulbs.com

I didn't realize they had this policy.

Will you substitute items that may not be available?

Yes, 1000Bulbs.com reserves the right to substitute comparable brands if necessary.

Apparently they can they just switch out the light bulbs you ordered with another brandwithout notifying you of the change.

I ordered specific light bulbs with 5 star reviews at a premium and what came was "LongStar" made in china garbage that is not even on their website. They call it their house brand. A house brand that is not even on their website.

Yes they can reserve that right, but you can reserve the right to refuse their substitution too. Especially since it isn't "comparable" in value.

There lies the problem, I didn't know they change it until i actually got it. Sadly, i'm using it right now because it the only bulbs I have that supporting my plants.

The sad part is, they say "comparable in value" but no where on their site is the lightbulb i got listed.

I blame myself for not buying from amazon.

I would be hunting them down. And they would NOT be happy when they found me at their front door.

But fraud is fraud. They owe you a 100% refund. Probably can simply contact your credit card company and get the charges reversed. Make THEM pay postage for sending them back.

If they are engaged in mail fraud, contact the postmaster. That was what we did in the old days. Not sure how that works now a days...since I am no lawyer.

My friend says you may need to pay the restocking fee though. He is smarter than me and his Dad is a lawyer. I am more likely to go through the roof! Must be the red hair.

If you paid with a credit card I would consider filing a challenge to the charges. You didn't get what you paid for. If they had swapped say General Electric for Phillips it would be one thing, but not discount brand.

I would still be mad, all I care about is that a company notifies me first of changes, I gave them my phone and email, it not that hard to call someone.

How i'm feeling right now is like buying a box of snickers online and receiving a box of tooties rolls instead.

On a side note, I've been looking at other sites for bulbs just in case.

http://www.loadstonestudio.com/shop/...0w-output.html

This site has 4x 65watt 6500k spectrum bulbs for 24ish with zero shipping if anyone interested.
