Seedlings looking good for next week planting

I potted up my seedlings a week ago and have them in a mini greenhouse. You can see the CowPots in the 2nd picture and the Dot Pots in the 3rd. I used Bio Terra Plus which is an organic grow medium with bio ferts added from BioCanna to pot up with. It seems like the plants are liking their new growing medium. Ami

Your plants look nice and healthy. They look as though they're primed and ready to go into their pots or ground. The Bio Terra Plus seems to be the right mix for you. I did a search for Bio Terra Plus and found that their mix includes peat, bone meal, bat guano, and trace elements. I'd like to try this product if I can locate it near my area. That will be my next search. I use ProMix/BX now, but I'm always looking for something new to try out. If I can find the mix I'll try it out with my second planting this year. Hope you have good success with your plants this season.

Ami, those are probably the prettiest transplants I've ever seen! I use the ProMix/BX for potting up, too, and am finding it's just not enough- my plants are looking pretty bad- more yellow and purple than green.

I wish my seedlings looked like that! And my seedlings are going in the ground right now regardless of the pitiful condition they are in!

Well at least I am getting them in the ground finally after a month of delays. Now mother nature can take over, and she is a much better grower than me!

Awesome seedlings!! Are you using liquid fertilizer with watering or this great result is only from the potting mix you used?

I used SERAMIS and ecoworm diluted while the seedlings were growing in the JumpStarts. Since transplanting to the CowPots/DotPots I'm using diluted mix of Bio-Grow and Neptune Harvest. The key word here is "Diluted". If you use the ferts full strength you will have "Leggy" seedlings so you have to balance the fertilizer concentration in regards to the growth phase of the plant.

Just to give you an idea of the growth rate the first picture is the above plants taken 2 weeks ago on the 27th of April. The 2nd picture is of the above mentioned ferts I have used. The last 2 pictures is the growing medium used when the seedlings were potted up.
