Julia's Giant's 07/04 Update.
Hi everyone!!
Here is a few photo's this morning of my tomatoes. The first photo is a fruit that has resulted from a megabloom on one of three Mega Marv plants. This one is slightly smaller than the second potential heavy weight in the second photo. The second photo is also a fruit growing on another Mega Marv plant. It's the largest of the nine tomatoes I currently have growing. It has potential to be quite heavy. I shade the tomatoes with white dish towels cut down and sashed to the support stake. I only grow one tomato per plant in order to focus the plants energy towards growing that one tomato as large and heavy as possible. The third photo shows an overview of my backyard with my herb garden, sunflowers and some of my tomato plants.

Just how big has your biggest tomato been? I grew a Cuostralee one year that weighed in at 4 lbs. and it wasn't even the only tomato on the plant. Can't imagine how big it might have been if I had picked the others off. Looks like you're on the way to some really super sized ones.

@ Patihum. Your 4.0 LBS blows my first year 2.86 LB Big Zac out of the water!! That's an impressive tomato my friend!! This year my goal is the upper three pound range.

very nice Julia. Good luck in your big tomato contest. Maybe one day you can try to beat the Oklahoma record.
