If you ever try one you will never go back to a regular cherry tomato.

Hey lets not get too aggressive, if anything will scare someone off different tomatoes its green zebra, black cherry, or maybe paul robeson, at least out of the varieties that I have tried those can tend to have some 'unique' flavours at times. Can't go wrong with a good ole cherokee purple.

Thanks. That is me mowing, very late hay, 5 years ago, with Brownie and Spook. We were truely working but it is alot of fun too.
Although after several weeks sitting on a mowing machine or a hay rake I am really ready to do something different! We use between 40 and 50 ton af hay a year, so it is a decent size undertaking.

Nah. I know how to start a team on a cold morning. Me and tractors never have gotten along!

How are the the seedlings doing and why did you choose 6 Arkansas Traveler seedlings?

I am curious about the practical garden difference between Arkansas Traveler and Burgundy Traveler. Burgundy Traveler is supposed to have better disease tolerance and flavor and a darker color, but I have not grown them side by side to compare.

Since you are choosing plants for heat tolerance, have you compared Arkansas Traveler with Super Sioux or Costoluto Genovese?

Both taste good. Now if they only made coffee tasting tomatoes, I would be really happy.

Looks like the Ark I grew last year--healthy, productive, but didn't like the taste. Ozark Pink was good, after I gave it a dose of sea salt and potassium, but mild. I am growing it again this year, just to see how another seed does. I like to give them a chance.
