I do it to stop damping off mostly.

I just looked and I have some Black Cherry seeds I saved from 2007 sprouting.

Also 2 Blacks from 2007.

Sun Gold from lord knows when.

They are doing this in the sunny driveway I want the first leaves to see sunlight.

Sun Gold is the only tomato I regret not buying seeds for this year. Bonnie plants lists it as one they sell. I'm waiting to see if they stock any plants locally. I know the burpee seed rack at HD has them.

I bought my very first Sun Gold tomato plants at Home Depot in 2004 I think.
I have never seen it there since and I look every year.

I fell in love with it.
You better get those seeds.

One part hydrogen peroxide to about 9 or ten parts water.

I sent off an email to bonnie and asked about the availability. They promised to send some out to my local HD in a few days. Lucky me.
