Garden/Tomato mid-June status

Here's some photos I took of the garden this afternoon.
The first is of the main garden bed.
In front is Cantaloupe, Beans, Cucumber, and Zucchini.
In back are the tomatoes.
Next photos in order are:

2 Honey Bees photos - They just love Thyme, don't look twice at the tomatoes.
Don's Double Delight
Dwarf Mahagony - This is just 5 of the 20 fruit set on this 3' tall plant. It is representing its lineage quite well! It came from Plentiful.
Clackamas Blueberry - Curious to know how I can tell when this one is ripe!
A photo of the main garden bed, and the ones in pots. I would say the potted plants are doing quite well.

Upstate SC...mine is about as far along as yours.

My squash have SVB - my son has been cutting open the stem and removing the larva - then covering the stem with cool, damp compost. They are surviving - even in this heat (95 degree +).

Your squash look good. Here in Virginia Beach, Zone 7b, I have given up on squash because of squash vine borers. Do you have a problem there and if so, how to you handle it. I have tried dusting the plants. Wrapping the stalks with tin foil. Nothing seems to work.

SVB have taken out 4/5 of the zukes....

Cut out 3~4 from each decimated stalk..... only thing to do is proactive sevin dusting before the
moths lay eggs....

Alas, it's time for something new in that garden space.

Yes, I created Dwarf Cuostralee. Cuostralee x Summertime Gold = Ruby F1... Dwarf Cuostralee was selected last season and is in the F3 state now..... Hoping it keeps the taste I'm looking for moving forward!
