I've grown Riesentraube 3 times - they are productive, have that distinctive shape - and the flavor (or lack thereof) just doesn't work for me.

They have a great flavor here at my place, that just goes to show that tomatoes grown in different climates and/or soil have a different flavor.

They have what I would call a real tomato flavor.

My black cherry tomatoes taste different than Suze's and she lives about 10 miles from me.

I don't know if its in my mind or not but if I go out in the morning and eat one it tastes some what like an actual cherry.

strange.
