Hooray for taking the ribbons! Black Cherry is definately a blue ribbon tomato.

So how do they judge? The last couple of fairs I've been to, it seems most stuff is judged by appearance because of concerns (unfounded, IMO) over home preserved or even home cooked items.

Thanks Remy!!! I made my daughter watch the show and vote for Neil last week...LOL.. I'm always running around like a chicken with no head. She likes the show anyway and voted a few times for him.
Jerry, I'm sure for you I can scrounge up a few pecans if you want me to.
As far as judging, I know they do taste as far as pickles, pies etc... I think the tomatoes it is just on appearance. I can pick up my ribbons tonight between 8-10.
